Why do I receive messages saying that the network is running out?

A/C: Basic plan
The basic plan is unlimited data in 3Mbps, and the basic plan of 300MB is the normal 4G speed, so you will receive a text message notification when you run out, and you can ignore the notification. It is a unlimited data plan.

A Speed up plan
Speed up plan is the same, every month there will be 10GB is normal 4G speed, after the use of daily 2GB is normal 4G speed a day, and 3Mbps unlimited, the 4G speed will receive SMS notification. It is a unlimited data plan.

Does unlimited calling include all the phone numbers in Korea?

Only free calls like phone numbers starting with 010/02 are unlimited. Commercial calls are not included ( Phone numbers starting with 15xx/16xx/18xx). Extra charges conducted and the plan will be shortened when you make the commercial calls.

Can I renew my prepaid plan or I must switch to a monthly plan?

We are the only company which able to process prepaid plan renewals. As long as you are using a plan that is ARC-connected for 4 months or more, you may renew the plan with the same phone number. If you have a Korean bank account, you may also choose switching the number to a monthly plan.

Is there a limitation on internet speed in Korea?

Mobile plan in Korea comes with data following the Fair Usage Policy (FUP). For mobile plans with unlimited data, the internet will be limited after a certain basic internet is used. Here is the general concept of different speeds:
400kpbs: Super slow, only available with text messages and video in 240p
1Mbps: Slow, available with text messages, small picture files and video in 480p
3Mbps: Recommended, available with text messages, big picture files and video in 720p
5Mbps: Fast and recommended, available with text messages, big picture files and video in 1080p.

Is the SIM compatible with all phone models?

Our SIM card is compatible with all UNLOCKED phone models. If there is a country lock on your phone, please contact your phone carrier to unlock it before you arrive in Korea.
For the eSIM, it only compatible to phone models with EID in setting.

What is real name authentication?

Korea requires real name authentication with most online activities like website membership registration or online banking. Only Korean residents who have a visa to stay in Korea for over 120 days can do it. It is not available with short-term visas like tourist visas.

Can I use the phone number to have identity authentication?

You may verify your identity with the phone number online as long as it is bound to your ARC no matter it is a prepaid or a monthly plan. Identity authentication is not available with a phone number that is registered with a passport. Therefore, please contact us to have an ARC connection once you get it (It is NOT automatically connected by the immigration office)

Why do I keep receiving spam message?

This is becase because phone numbers would be recycled in Korea. If the previous users did not disconnect the number with the services, you may get messages from those services. It will not affect your privacy but if you find that these SMS or calls are too annoying or not related to you, we suggest you block the number or contact the sender to disconnect the service.

What are the differences between KT, LG and SKT?

There are mainly three traditional phone carriers in Korea which are KT, LG and SKT. All of them have high coverage in Korea.

Is it able to get a SIM card with passport?

Yes, it is. We offer different plans to fulfil customer's need.

I am under 19, can I have a SIM?

Customers under 19 can only apply for prepaid plan.
Student ID card or cerificate of enrollment is required if you tend to renew the plan or having ARC connection.
We suggest you to get the longest plan (6 months) if you are under 19.

How to activate the SIM?

For airport pickup
Activation time: 10-19 Mon-Sat, if you pickup the sim out of our business hours then please wait until our business hours to activate for you. Nommally it takes 20 minutes during our business hours.

(Regarding B plan, please DO NOT insert the SIM into your phone before activation)

For domestic delivery
We activate the SIM before arrange out so you can use the SIM after you receive it. But if you do the early order but come later then we can only do the activation after you arrive in Korea, if you pre-order first please contact us after you arrive in Korea. We will activate for you during our business hours.

Why the SIM is not working?

1. Please make sure if the plan still active.
2. Please check if had left Korea without completing ARC connection. (Leaving Korea when the number is under passport will cause termination and cannot reactivate)
3. Please check if you had left Korea and return the ARC to the immigration.
