Just came to Korea to spend lunar new year with my korean friends. They said that in Korea, they eat 떡국(ricecake soup) to celebrate new year and it means to get one more year of ages. We made it at home by ourself. Just put the rice cake in the white soup, some salt. slice egg and beef also some du,pling. It tastes good but I think it;s not my type. May be I should try to put some kimchi to have more flavor.
